Anyone in the DFW area come on out to an ftr homegame at my house this Sunday.. Me, Lukie, George, Trip, Gabe, and Boost will all be there, it should be fun. We will be grilling, swimming, drinking, and playing cards. If you live in the area feel free to come on out, it would be cool to meet some fellow FTR memebers. If you want more details PM me and i can give you directions and more info.

hey, so one of us made over $500 on the trip, and the other one of us lost over $500 on the trip. I was the first guy, btw. Yayayaya you stacked me when I got cold-decked, whatever.
And also, folding a full house in a big pot to a big raise on the river in omaha with trips on the board can't possibly be THAT bad. Ok, so the actual fold was terrible, but whatever. I didn't want to take more of your money. And nobody ever said I was good at bingo.

The hand went something like this....
We were playing no limit omaha and no limit holdem (at one point it was every other orbit, at one point it was dealer's choice between holdem/omaha/high card). I'm bad at omaha but I understand the game and was trying to compensate for my lack of skills by playing tight. I havn't raised any omaha hand yet and had only limped a few times.
Anyway, it's 5-6 handed, pretty deep eff stacks, $.50/$.50 blinds, I'm in the CO with KKA8ss, 2 limps to me, I make it $3 straight, Boost calls on the button, folds to gabe in the HJ who also calls. Flop K22r. Gabe checks, I make a ~half pot sized bet, Boost calls, gabe folds. I tihnk the turn was a 7, possibly completing the rainbow. I make another ~half pot sized bet that just had to scream KK and Boost calls again. At this point I'm at a loss of putting him on a hand, but 2xxx makes a lot of sense. River is the 3rd deuce, I lead again and my bet gets tripled. I start swearing and shit and table KK as the pot gets swept to him. He had somebullshit like J855 or something. Doh.

The think was.....boosts reraise was 40 bucks more....which pretty much put lukie all in. And lukie was sitting there telling everyone he got one outered, but it was 40 more to call in a drunken home game!!!!! So he flips the KK face up and says i fold, and we reem him all night and all the way to the airport. LIFE NIT!

lukie, you got owned, give credit were credit is due. Im not trying to say I made some amazing bluff. And the thing is you are still way too focused on teh cards. The cards meant nothing. You quickly made your half pot bets on the flop and turn. River hits and I can ssee the distress in your face, as you take like 2 minutes then finally bet 20 (about half pot again) and I auto pop it up to 60 to go, note that I did not push even though a push with your effective stack would only be like 15-25 more then waht I bet. I honestly didnt even completly put you on a hand, Im crappy at omaha too, I just knew that you really dindt like that river. Oh and I had 5574s or something like that. Also I had been being goofy and calling down with gutshots and laughing it up, then this hand I get all serious and while you cuss and scream about getting 1 outted I stare straight forward andmake a huge effort not to swallow. I scared the shit outta you and so you folded thinking that I would show my quads and everyone would think you were so cool for making such an amazing read.
