When playing live and are forced with a tough decision against villian, i.e. you got 4bet pre by a tight player while you hold KK, facing a big reraise with 2nd or 3rd nuts, etc.

And while you are in the tank, villian says, "I'll show if you fold."

Or, if you ask villian if he will show if you fold and he replies, "yes".. Or something similar... Do you interpret that as a strong hand most of the time?

Im interested in knowing what yoru experiences have been.

I'll show if you fold means villain wants you to fold. Why on earth would villain want you to fold if he had the nuts. Reverse psychology can go a long way though, so who knows. It's personality dependent. Usually though this type of behavior has nothing to do with the action I take, since the way villain played the hand up to that point is usually indication enough.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

"No thanks."
or
"Sorry, I don't show uncalled hands."

Be short, polite and to the point.

I've never once found any of these kind of questions helpful even against novice players
