Guys any links would help.
Im playing at a live table, there is occassionally a Mega Maniac that plays every other week in the casino. Im talking every hand played... every hand raised... weaker the hand the higher the raise. Stronger the hand the weaker the raise. Worst part is the guy has a Horseshoe in his ass..... He Hits EVERYTHING!!

Early in the evening.. he has already stacked a calling station off for 150 euro's So Maniac has now 450. Im playing tighter than normal, and have 185 ( Bought in for 150 ).

2/2 blinds Im MP with two limpers so I raiseit to 20 w/ Jh Jc, Maniac flat calls, SB Callingstation ATM calls and the 2 limpers..... Im laughing in disbelief!
Flop comes Kh Kd Jh.
Calling Station ATM goes all in .... for 150
( turns out he was bluffing ) fold fold...
I push the rest of my stack... pretty much knowing this pot is mine.
Manaic Falt calls as well..... Huh?
turn comes a 8c river 2 d
Manaic show Kc8d

This went on the whole night.... raised w/ 23 suited ect.

Please some links for stragey how to play against the luckiest donk in the world. [/img]

Fold everything, you've got no hope.

But seriously, play tighter than usual and when you do hit a hand - let him bet into you. Top pair is all you need against a guy like this.
<@d0zer> how will you learn if I don't berate you harshly?

I have never been able to play like a maniac, even if Ive been able to accumulate a large stack in a evening. I never have been able to go into "GambleMode" Swear this guy 3 weeks ago, 4 carded a Royal flush... he was allin Preflop against a super strong player.

easy game. You just put lots of buy-ins in your pocket and gamble with these guys when you have good equity.
772 flop 7 limpers, i had 22 in small blind and checked, one donk bet $25, the maniac behind raised to $100, i shoved my $200, they both called. its like 7A772 board at showdown. Maniac had 78o and the donk had 66.
this is the part of poker, man.

No Im not looking to Bitch about the bad beat, ( The dealer did roll her eye's ) anyway..... was hoping there were some links or advice on playing a Maniac, Personally I think one big mistake was being understacked to the Maniac... But then that beat would have hurt even more. Hard to play a fool that doesnt care if he loses....

I was going to write some stuff, but on the most basic level - if you can't identify what exactly his leaks are and how to exploit them, you should really second guess if you should be playing in the game.
Otherwise it's the same with every situation... range, equity - there you go. With one slight adjustment and that is that I might give up some situations where I stand to be less than a 60% favourite against his range, and he's just begging to loose his money - I might give him a pot because I think there's a possibility he'll cut and run, which might be his smartest move, or I'm forced to play deep against him... which is always tricky against someone who will fire multiple barrels and rebluff with air.
The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.
