I was just wondering how hard it would be to maybe sit at a poker table in a casino with a fake id, how hard do they card you? and what are the consequences if you get caught?

You really want someone to comment on you doing something illegally. How about you wait until you're 21 then go in there and say "look at my ID bitches"

In all honesty tho, I've never been carded in a poker room and I played on my 21st bday.

actually my friends who are 18 play reasonably often at like the taj and borgata and the trop in AC and one never gets carded because he looks older...and the other sometimes will get carded depending on casino...

No racism intended on this art but the taj tends to be primarily asian dealers and most dont have an accurate judge on the average white 21 yr old so they rarely card you but the pit bosses are more likely to card u

You most likely won't get carded at a poker room. I recently went to an 18+ casino but didn't get carded, not even close to asked. Even guys who looked really young didn't. I'd say if you really excited about it I'd take a shot. Or find an 18+ casino. Where do you live?
Check out the new blog!!!

Here is the problem, if your casino has a badbeat jackpot, and it hits at your table they have to card you for tax reasons. If they find that you're under age, they nulls the badbeat jackpot. Expect to have 8 people about to pounce.

If you're unaware what the BBJ is (since you've never been at a casino), its usually high hand over high hands, ex: Aces full of tens beat by quads or better. What happens is whoever receives the bad beat gets 50%, the person who gave the bad beat receives 25%, and then the rest of the table gets 25% split between them. Most of the time its 35k+ in the smaller casinos.
