Currently I am on Holiday in Malta and decided to play in the Portomasso casino in Sliema. After observing the tables a bit 1/2 NL I sat down with a couple of friends of mine on different tables. This time i decided to short stack with 100 euro. Table maximum is 400 euro btw. So after nitting a while I pick up AQ, one guy in front of me raises to 16 and i call with about 70 behind one guy behind me calls in the BB. Flop comes Q42, so i hit top pair top kicker. Guy in front of me raises to 24, i push and the guy behind me raises to 100. Other guy folds turn is a 7 river a jack. I turn over my cards and he reveals jacks making trips. Cooler number 1. So i rebuy again thinking short stacking can work lets do this. 5th hand in my 1st rebuy i get dealt JJ. One raiser in front of me makes it 24 i push all in with about 90. Guy behind me calls in sb, initial raiser also calls. Flop comes Jc 7c Ac turn, so i am praying for not another club. Turn comes 7d. River comes 9c. Turn and river both action from the sb on the river other guy folds after a raise from the sb. Sb turns over 8-10 of clubs against my trips jacks on the flop. This guy calls 100 pre flop with a suited gap and then flops a flush and rivers a straight flush making my hand completely dead.

So i went 2 times all in and got coolered/bad beat 2 times while playing absolutely perfect poker in my mind.

Another crazy fact is that the max rake is capped at 100 euro (when the pot is 2500), this mainly happens in the 5-10 game tho.

My question is did i play these hands good or not?
