Anyone want to work with me to put one together? I'm thinking LHE, NLHE (with a hand cap) or preferably a mixed game. 4/8 stakes for limit and .5/1 blinds with a $100 hand cap on big bet games.

Ditto? And if there's a cap. How can it be considered no limit?

I could be way off, but i think it means cash plays, up to $X. sooo, even if you only buy in for twenty, you can bust out your wallet for a little extra juice on the AA.

I think it means that the pot can at most be 100 bucks? This way if someone buys in for 10,000 dollars, and someone buys in for 300. THe guy who buys in for 300 wont get ass raped becuase he doesnt need to worry about going in every hand, the pot can only get so big.
I too could be way off.

I'm moving to Seattle from St. Louis, Missouri. I'm interested in finding a local game, preferrably no-limit and preferrably a 100 buy-in level game. I'll be moving between august and september. I'm unsure exactly where I will be living. Somewhere in King County though. Keep me posted.

The most a player can bet on a hand (unless table stakes take priority.) You're effectivly playing "No Limit" with fixed stack sizes. It takes away the stack size dynamic and allows big bet games to be mixed in with limit games at the same table.
