Hey...we were playin a game at my place, No limit holdem, and a friend sitting next to me tends to try a scare tactic. I cannot remember was was on the board, but i do know i dint have anything. I started just counting my chips and as soon as i started counting them, he reached for a stack of his chips and started playin with them and starin at me. I really think he was just tryin to scare me into not betting, so i threw it all in. He ended up foldin at waitin a few minutes. Was just wondering if anyone on here has come across this type of thing and if it would be considered or if anyone does consider this as a tell???

It's a ploy... I use it in a lot of live games I play in Caro basically says it's trying to make your opponents hastate and bet more forcefully or quickly... if they do so it's more likely to be a bluff, he they don't hastate or don't bet forcefully they most likely have a hand... try watching the videos in my sticky from Caro it might clear some things up... that one is under ploys...
