this is for a 10 person tourney/SNG

start with 5000 each, blinds start at 100/200
blinds raise every 20 mins for first 2 lvls, then every 10 mins I believe

it is a pretty tight/passive game
most people only raise 2xBB preflop

i played extremely tight, was nervous since it was my first time there, finished 4th and 5th, only won like 2 hands when I finished 5th

so should I play more LAGGY type? I would estimate that there are maybe 2 out of 10 on average who I would say are decent/good players...thanks for any replies...

TLR is an unknown quantity at this point
Few issues to consider

1. What is the payout structure
2. The blind table - you mention the blinds increase, but you did not mention by how much each tim

All and all it seems like an extermly quick paced tournament, I would imagine that after an hour blinds are in the 500/1000 area or so.
1 hour represents about 20-25 hands in live games, which means that you cannot play tight and conservative and only be involved in good hands, the blind structure (if it is indeed fast paced) require you to play agressively and be willing to press small edges and gamble a bit
