Wow, my first post. Anyway, I visited Reno this past weekend and the gaming at the Peppermill was great. They have been known for their high limits tables, but have 2-4, 4-8 tables now as well.

This was my first time to a Reno poker room; I usually play home games and the "cardrooms" here in the Sac area. What a thrill to sit at a 2-4 with so many "tourists" and take easy money. I am no pro, but have been playing for a while and I tell ya....sometimes the call stations get their river, but most of the time they are easy to bully out off 4th street, especially when they get short stacked.

I sat at 2-4 for a great 8 hour session on Saturday....The atmosphere was great, the dealers were extremely friendly, and the cocktail waitress' were attentive. The pots were quite large with 4-6 callers on the flop. Usually by the river it was down to 2-3 so it was a blast.

This is my first post in these forums. I have lurked for a while and figure it was time to contribute to one of the best poker forums I have seen. If there are any NoCal players out there that have home games or wanna hook up for some brick and morter, gimme a shout.
