should you raise AQ, AJ, KQ, KJ, QJ from any position ? I know there are many factors involved but just in general ?
is it better to limit the field when holding these hands ?
I just have folded a lot when i limp in with these hands and hit nothing, then some asshole who limps in with 7/3 off suit hits his 7 or even worse 2 pair.
thoughts ?

Absolutely you should be raising those hands from certain positions. I don't know what else to say other than that ...
Why wouldn't you want to raise your AQ or QJ? Have you had bad experiences doing so? Maybe give us some actual examples and then we can talk about whether or not it's a good idea to raise or not PF in those situations.

I play 1/2 no limit with a max buy in of $200 so... when I raise say kQ suited or unsuited in middle position to $12 bucks, I get a couple callers or someone re-raises me so I do not know where I am at. Then if I miss the flop, someone bets and I fold. It doesnt take too long for my stack to become short, and I hate playing short stacked. Not too mention I am playing with the typical loose fish who call with anything.

i limp in AJs, KQs in ep, open raise up to $10 in MP and definitely make a big raise vs limpers on CO & BT. If only one or two ppl call my raise, i will c-bet on some good flop. Otherwise, i just give up unless i hit my cards nicely.
live game is just toooo easy & soft IMO.

The better question here is.... WHICH positions should you be raising with two overs, and which positions should you just limp in?
I'd think that in a later position and no one has raised you really have to raise. However, in an earlier position it's a harder call. But, at the same time, why would you not raise with them in any position?

These spots come down to what I think of people and how deep I figure to be playing.
Shallow money against loose players I like these hands.
Deep against difficult players, I hate them.
