I noticed when a player quickly picks up the chips from the pot he is usually bluffing when he throws out a relatively large bet. The player is relieved to have taken the pot and quickly wants the chips. When a player has a relatively good hand the player feels as if the chips in the pot already belong to him and that he is no rush to pick up the chips.

Yeah, this can be seen in some of mike caro's videos. This can work both ways depending on how and when they go for the chips. Check out the vids for more detail

if my opponents fold to my bluff, i usually shake my head in disappointment and mutter, "damn, no action..."

then, yes, i grab those chips fast.

I think you might be on to something here. This makes a lot of sense. I'm gonna look for this sort of stuff in the home game im playing tonight.
