I play in a Pub Poker league in Charlotte, NC. Anyone else splash around in these? The play is overall really bad but there are some good players and nice people.. its actually pretty fun, even though it sucks to build a stack then go into the final table with like 3 BBs and realize you are the big stack.

The website is pubpokerchampionship.com if anyone is interested. They have regional leagues in Charlotte, Raleigh, and somewhere in Florida. They have a Tournament of Champions at the end of each season (4 seasons a year) and the winner gets an entry into a circuit event. There is also a high rollers tournament each season with a $1k first prize.

The average game has between 20-40 people and lasts 2-3 hours.. lots of booze, lots of making fun of donkeys.. bring your C game and clean up
