So, I got off work the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, proceed to the bar downstairs to hook up with a couple of buddies, including the Xianti.

Well, the four of us decide to hit the Hustler Casino.

Oh man, was that a good idea.

We took seats at the NL table, which is a $2-5 blind, $100-$300 max buy-in game. I bought in for a safe $200.

After a few hours of cocktails and cards, I walked out with over $900.

Since getting paid big to drink as much as I can is a lot of fun, I went back there on Friday with a friend before our Laker game.

After a few hours of cocktails and cards, I walked out with over $1050.

Hmm...I may be on to something...

Saturday, no plans, I'm going to see if this is a fluke, I go back to Hustler solo before heading out to my cousin's evening poker party.

Again I cash in for $200.

After a few hours of cocktails and cards, I walked out with over $800.

And then I took 2nd in our poker tournament that evening... +$2,200 for the weekend.

I think the B&M NL game is ridiculously easy. I've never had a losing session yet at a NL B&M game (10-12 sessions)... are you guys finding this to be true in your local casinos? Maybe Hustler attracts the weakest, most predictable players or something... if you guys are in the LA area, I would check it out.

Thanks, Mike, yeah, real fortunate, that Hustler Casino is only about 5 miles away from my house. I'm going to try to hit that place up twice a week, see how that fares, I must be running hot right now but that competition is very, very soft.

I can't believe your not there more often. If I was running that good I'd be there every damn day. Of course I have no self control and no clue when to stop, so I'd probably go broke on my first down swing

Seriously though it sounds like the weekends at that place can be very profitable for you.

Oklahoma sucks no casinos within minutes...

Plus the casinos are in Indian territory.

One casino has a freeroll though I might go up to, to go play.

Thats sweet TTanaka

Well the casinos here in Oklahoma dont have card games like blackjack and things like that. Thats Oklahoma stiff ass law for you.

I know one casino I think at Kickingbird Casino has a freeroll every Fri. and Sat. night at 7 pm w/ a prize pool of $2000 or so. I dont know how many are in a freeroll at any given time.

Casinos are only allowed to be settled in the Indian Territory land as well.

Mike, you're right, I need to be there more often. Still have a lot of other projects to get moving on, but I figure one weeknight and Saturday afternoons are fair game. Twice a week... I'll post my next visit's results, maybe Wednesday or Thursday evening I'll go.

Dec. 1, visited Hustler again, didn't do as well as previous trips, but still made $275 (this is net, after eating dinner there and 4-5 drinks).

Tonight was interesting, saw a lot of regulars, they all kinda knew each other and chit-chatted. I didn't know any of them, but did recognize a maybe 2 guys from previous visits.

Tonight's table was tight. And pretty tricky. AKs did not raise in middle position from one player. But the table was still passive. I'd take passive over aggressive any day.

Had about a 2 hour session over there.

So, played my normal thing, didn't get many hands to play, I think I can remember all of them - TT (folded after the flop), KT - check-raised on the turn when I hit two pair (but the flop was 3 to a flush), J8 - hit trips on the river, KK beat TT, QQ won on bet on the flop (Ace on the flop), AK folded after flop, JT made nut straight on turn, 99 flopped trips but got no action, and few other SB and BB hands that were meaningless. And that's it, up $275 and a nice buzz.

Think I'll head out there again tomorrow night (Thurs) and Saturday during the day.
