1-2 NL 10-handed live. Villain is a semi-tight guy and got a $600 stack. My stack is $420 and play tight like a rock . We already tangled on one hand before and he said he folded his two pairs when i c/r with my set on the flop and followed up with a huge turn bet.
1 ep limper, short stacker($35) raised to $5, 2 cold callers, villain called on the BT, i had :Ks: :Qs: in SB and 3 bet/squeeze to $30, everyone folded to BT, he called without thinking too much.
flop($80) : i bet $50, villain called quickly.
turn($180):
i put his likely range on 44-QQ and think he'd definitely lay down some pocket pairs on later streets, so i followed up with $150 semi-bluff, he asked me how much left and put me all-in. I went into the tank, muttered " Do you hit your boat? " and counted chips....
Please give your thoughts on my preflop, flop and turn play.

If he's calling that big a 3ball then what hands do you think you're folding on the flop? turn?

certainly not KK or AA given actions preflop. A bunch of people call 3 bet with shit in live games and play fit or fold games postflop. He is on the button, so he probably has anything. Also, his play on the turn is a little bit timid and not the kind of players who tend to overvalue TPTK stuff when big money hit the table.

Your turn bet size is pretty bad. If you think your overs are clean then bet more and pot stick yourself. I personally think a guy that will lay down 2 pair in a raised pot in a live poker game isn't doing this with less than a 9.
As passive as these live games play, I don't like 3balling KQs OOP. That is a hand that plays fine multiway & OOP.

I know these loose live players love to call $5 raise with any kind of shit. So i think that i need to 3 bet and take down the pot with dead money on the table. Also, i make such a move with a wide variety of hands which have good postflop equity in these squeeze situations.
i am just not sure whether flat calling is more profitable or not.

yucky play.
preflop play is decent, I think you could have gotten the same effect with a $20 pre flop raise.
flop, why bet so much? you could play some small ball poker and bet $30 bucks and have the same result.
turn... you gotta think he has something after calling your flop bet. You could fire the second barrell say with $60 and see what he does. If he puts you all in, you could easily fold with a loss of $110. You could call and GAMBOOL with a hope of hitting a flush on a turn. (which you could be drawing dead to a boat) I would have probably checked the turn and hoped he checked behind to see a free card.
The way you played it, you put in $230 dollars already up to the turn and pretty much commited to this hand. The Small ball way you would have put in $110 and can lay the hand down on the turn.
You should make all the big decisions preflop or on the flop. Try to keep from making big decisions on the turn or river.
Overall I feel you played this hand pretty badly.
