1/2 @ Edgewater
I have $406, image: loose aggro, position: SB, Hand:
Villain has $350, image: semi loose, very aggro, position: MP
We have each caught each other bluffing in decent sized pots in the last couple orbits.

UTG raises to $10, 7 callers including myself.
Flop: Pot: $75
ALL 8 PLAYERS CHECK
Turn:
I bet $40
folds to villain who raises to $140, folds to me and I call.
I decided to call here for a couple reasons: I'm confident he folds to a shove without a flush, and I'm confident enough that he did not check the flop with a flush. I want to peel off a river here, praying for any non club or paired board.
Turn: Pot: $360
I shove for $256.

Thoughts?

Why wouldn't he check nut-like flush on the flop?

With less than pot behind on the turn, I think I like getting it in there more than playing guessing games OOP on the river because he might turn his set or two pair into a bluff on a club river (?) given the player description.

He might be the type of player to check nut like hands on the flop, but I think it's more likely that he would be bet bet betting because it would be consistent with what he has been doing all session.

If I call the turn raise and the river brings a 4th club, I don't see the value in turning what he thought was a best hand on the turn - into a bluff on the river. He could be putting me on a Kc/Qc when I call... which is why I shove river, as sort of a bluff line.
