I don't play limit much, but a big tell is "the call down", it shows that their hand is weak, and you should value bet more on the river in marginal spots. But then what do i know about limit.

Kinda pointless but never really seen it mentioned before.

Well yeah, but that doesn't really "tell" you anything, because you haven't been really 'called down' until the hand is over.

Preflop: You bet, he calls --- you can't tell a whole lot here. He either doesn't have a strong hand, or he does have a strong hand.
Flop: You bet, he calls -- Doesn't tell you anything either. He might be waiting for a turn raise, he might be on the draw, he might have bottom, mid, or top pair weak kicker.
Turn: You bet, he calls -- Id say here you get your first sign of a 'tell', in that nope, he didn't raise you. Is the draw still out? Open ended? Flush draw? You can start limiting his hands here.
River: You bet, he calls. Hands over, no reason for a tell.

Not much of a "tell" in that, well, nothings happened to give you any information on his hand other than "hes got two cards in his hand, and I haven't a whole lot of clue what they are"

Edit: Wow, didnt realize how old this was. Forum doesn't get much traffic, does it?

If the limit forum isn't getting posted in you can just assume Fnord is out of town...
