I figured with all the recent posts about FTR members meeting up to play. It was about time to devote a thread to members who would like to either play in or host a game/tournament at their homes. So I'll start this off with some of my info.
What I want is for anyone interested to post:
- Where you are located.
- What types of games you play.
- What limits you play.
- Your general availability.
- Any other relevant info.
This way if you see someone in your area, maybe you can meet up and play a little.
To conserve space, please keep all correspondence with each other to PM's if you plan to meet up.

MODS: This is a local card room I play at (no financial stake in it), so feel free to delete the message. I didn't see the warning about posting about card rooms.
- Where you are located.
Near Washington, DC
- What types of games you play.
Hold'em or Omaha8
- What limits you play.
3/6, 5/10, 150NL(1/2 blinds)
- Your general availability.
Games run every night but Monday
3/6 played on Sat, Sun, Tue, Wed
NL played on Thu
5/10 played on Fri
- Any other relevant info.
It's a closed game so I'll have to bring you the first time. I usually go to the NL, 5/10 and one 3/6 game a week.

I am not wandering around yelling out your name either. I think there are probably a good 10-15 FTR people within a 3 hour drive from Raleigh. maybe we can set up a good sized tourney for sometime this summer and attract them down for the day/weekend.

Temporary designation until some rich alum forks over enough money to get it named after him/her. It may be called something else now for all I know.

Looking to start a weekly game:
Huntington NY, Long Island.
Hold 'em cash game, I'd prefer 2/4 or 3/6 NL, but I think most ppl want smaller limits.
If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Type: It's been a 5-10 player tourney(s) with $10-$20 buyins. I'd also be willing to do a $1/$2 LHE cash game but I don't think the other players would be willing to play for that much money... tournaments are usually T1000
When: Every Friday (will do other nights if I get more people)
EDIT: Lately a lot more friends have wanted to play so when it's under 10 people it's still at my apartment, but if we do a 2 table tourney we do it at one of the players and his wife's townhouse.

I dont have a homegame, but would certainly set one up if there are FTRers in my area. I'm suprised everyone seems to be from the midwest or canada.
Anyway - I'm in San Fernando Valley just north of LA. Anyone in the area that wants to get together and play, let me know. (Of course, if you're in the area, you probably already go to Com.merce, Bicycle, Hollywood, or one of the other multitude of cardrooms here - but it would be fun to get together as a group.)

New to the forum and soon to the neighborhood. I want to start hosting a home game when I get to Jacksonville, North Carolina in July, so have a bit of patience with me.
No Limit Texas Hold 'Em
Jacksonville, North Carolina
$50 - $300 buy in
Re-buy in as much as you want for $50 - $300
$1/$2 blinds
Free beverages
Once people start messaging me on AIM: xlaxfanatikz on times that they are available I will select those days from 7 PM - 1 AM.
