1/2 NL game. I got dealt cold cards for ages. somebody minraised to $4, 3 callers, i finally called with :Ac: :Tc: on the button. My opponent was a straightforward player and always bet/ raised with real hands.
villain stack: $145
hero : ($220)
flop($23): :Kc: villain bet $10, hero raised to $30, villain shoved, hero ? Is it worth a crying call?
My equity doesnt look good vs his flop 4 bet/shove range even though his stack was a little bit short. Should i 4 bet preflop and take it down right there?

Just call on the flop, you're getting perfect odds. As played it's really close. The odds are about 3:1 against you if he has a K. So it's a fold I guess... I'm leaving the exact math to people who don't get a headache doing it.
The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.

The other advantage of calling the turn is you get to see his reaction and bet size.

Reverse implied sucks on this board. I don't like raising here on a paired board at all. For what you're trying to accomplish, the villain may shut down on the turn if you flat call the flop and you exercise some pot control too.

I prefer just a flat call here too ! then you get to see if you hit and if you do, you pretty much take his stack anyway !
