I had been thinking about this one for quite sometime. When you are heads up against someone and there is a drawing board, either two to a straight or flush, and that person comments on how a card "couldnt have helped you" or "you must have missed" its usually bc they are particularly week themselves and trying to remind you that your hand is no good. I decided to test this out the other night at the casino. I was playing $8/16 limit and had been the aggressor by far at the table raising somehting like the last 6 hands in a row. I raise from early position with 77. A kid on the button looks at me before he calls and i say "hey i got a hand this time, i have a pair". he calls me and we see a flop of 8 j 5. not a bad flop for me so i lead out. he raises me. i figure he is just sick of being pushed around so i raise him back. he re-re-raises me instantly and i just call figuring im behind to a pair of jacks or better. another 5 comes on the turn and i check to him. He fires out a bet. I look at him and say "im behind right now but im going to try to catch my trips on the river." He says Ok and the river brings another 5 for a final board of j 8 5 5 5. I check and he says "well that couldnt of tripped you up". Then i remembered thinking about this tell bc i have seen it before. Its like he wanted to make sure that i heard how bad my hand was. To try to pursuade me to fold. I thought for like 30 seconds and said to him "well i only have a pair of sevens but i think they are good. I call". Before i can even get my chips in the pot he angrily throws his cards in the muck. Since then i have seen this situation about 3 times when players think there opponent is drawing to something and a blank falls. They then make some comment and everytime that opponent was weak and could have been taken down with a healty raise or in some spots even just a call.

See if you guys notice this at all.
