10+ players should be there
Robert's rules for No Limit Hold 'em
$5 or $10 buyin ($5 gets you 1500 in chips, $10 gets you 3000) - not too sure about that...maybe just making it straight $5 or $10 only..
Rebuys:
-if you bust in the first 30 (maybe 45) minutes, you can rebuy ($5 or $10 depending on how much I decide the buyin is) for 2/3 the original amount (IE $5 rebuys 1k chips instead of 1500)
-if you hold below 500 chips you can rebuy (same rules apply as above) (is this even a good idea?)
-all money from rebuys goes either to a separate pot for sudden death between 1st and 2nd, or just to the 1st place player only
Blinds: (all for 15 minutes)
10-20
15-30
25-50
50-100
75-150
100-200
100-200 ante 25
200-400 ante 25
I'm not too sure about my blind sched (especially amount of time played), advice is welcome
No designated dealer, so I'll specify a CERTAIN way that the deck must be shuffled.
No idea what I want to do as far as payout.
Any other tips?

Blind schedule takes too long, and it would be easier to make the chips all one denomination, such as 100 or 1k per chip, therefore it would be hard to have blinds at 15/30... But gameplay would be easier and less confusing. Also, straight 5 or 10 would make it fair... because with proportional buy-ins it would just cause me to take more money from people, and the rebuy pot should be tacked on to the winners purse, adding to the drama of the game.
I'm still not sure as to the reason I posted this when I could just have told you in person, but it will do.
P.S. - I can't shuffle.

With 10 plus people. A payout to 3 is fine with a 50,30,20% breakdown. Do a buyin of $10. And no matter what the cards speak, and all intentions must be verbalized.

revised rules, any suggestions?
Quote:
$5 buy in, gets you $1500 in chips
All hands DO NOT HAVE TO BE turned faceup whenever a player is all-in and betting action is complete.
Rebuys:
-if you bust in the first four levels, you can rebuy for 2/3 the original amount (IE $5 rebuys 1k chips instead of 1500, $10 will buy you 2000 in chips (2000 chips can only be bought if the average chip stack is around 2000))
-if you hold below 200 chips you can rebuy
-the money from rebuys is either split between the players in 1st and 2nd place at the end of the tourney, or an all-or-nothing round between them for that money (decided by the two players)
-during the first four levels (in which rebuys are allowed), you can rebuy an unlimited amount of times
-All rebuys will be issued in high denomination chips, you'll have to get change from players or the pot if possible
Blinds: (all for 15 minutes)
10-20
15-30
25-50
50-100
75-150
100-200
150-300
200-400 ante 25
300-600 ante 50
400-800 ante 75
500-1000 ante 100
Dealer:
-There are no designated dealers, the deck will be passed around with the dealer chip. The deck will be cut by the player to your left, shuffled, then cut by the player on your right, and shuffled again. If you can not shuffle, or do not wish to deal, you can ask another player to do so for you.
-any error by the dealer (exposed cards, did not burn first) will result in a redeal
Payout:
Players: 1-10 11-20
1st 50% 50%
2nd 30% 25%
3rd 20% 15%
4th -- 10%
5th -- --
ALL intentions must be verbalized, if you wish to re-raise, do not just throw the raise in, say you are raising and what amount. Please verbalize all of your checks, bets, raises, and folds.
There will be a "busted" table. Any player that has busted, or no longer whishes to play in the No Limit Hold 'Em game can play at this table. The game is dealers choice, for play or real money.
There will be a 5 minute break every 30 minutes for getting snacks, drinks, or smoking. You must go outside to smoke.
Roberts Rules of Poker - Poker Etiquette
The following actions are improper:
1.Deliberately acting out of turn.
2.Deliberately splashing chips into the pot.
3.Agreeing to check a hand out when a third player is all-in.
4.Reading a hand for another player at the showdown before it has been placed faceup on the table.
5.Telling anyone to turn a hand faceup at the showdown.
6.Revealing the contents of a live hand in a multihanded pot before the betting is complete.
7.Needlessly stalling the action of a game.
8.Deliberately discarding hands away from the muck. Cards should be released in a low line of flight, at a moderate rate of speed (not at the dealer's hands or chip-rack).
9.Stacking chips in a manner that interferes with dealing or viewing cards.
10.Making statements or taking action that could unfairly influence the course of play, whether or not the offender is involved in the pot.
11.Using a cell phone at the table. Just ask for a break or fold your hand to sit out. (Your blinds will still be posted when you are sat out, you will be folded to any raise)
