Love the site, stop by every day.

Question -- anyone know of any good places to play (home game or otherwise) in Pittsburgh, PA? I'm not huge on online poker, and would like to play some this weekend. I'd like to avoid a drive up to Seneca Niagara (the closest casino with a poker room).

Thoughts?

Hi Gydyon, glad you like the site!

Sorry, no ideas on Pittsburgh, I know you're not into online poker, but online poker is still poker! Just finished a $10 Sit-N-Go tourney from the comfort of my couch, with a cocktail in my hand while watching TV, took 1st place... maybe you should give it another thought, it really is a fun way to get some poker action without having to drive anywhere!

But, otherwise, hopefully there are some Pittsburgh folks out there that can help you out!

(BTW - Welcome to FTR!)

It's not that I dislike it or anything, it just lacks a certain feel. Having only played live games, I miss being able to pretend I can figure out my opponents.

I may give it a whirl. We'll see.

Thanks!

Hey man. I'm from around Pittsburgh. Just moved out to cali last year.

My brother goes to Pitt and I think he plays low buy-in tournaments with some ppl there. Not sure if it would be your scene, but I can ask him whats up with it.

Also, check out http://www.homepokergames.com/

I like low buy-in tourneys, although I'm 29 now and old (although Oakland is 15 minutes form my house and 10 minutes from my job). I've e-mailed everyone on homepokergames and no one has written back yet.

Any info you can get, Natural, would be well aprreciated. Thanks.
