I just purchased my first deck of copag's from a local casino supply store. They shuffle like butter if thats possible. VERY smooth and easy to shuffle. But the seem almost paper thin. Is this the way the plastic ones feel? Haven't played with em yet, but I was just curious.....Should play with em tomorrow night.

Kem's are thicker, but not by much. And shuffle just as smooth. I'm thinking of picking up a deck of copags for a comparison.

Bought the Kems, bought the Copags. There are differences, but not enough to notice during a normal game, and it'll take a while to recognize the endurance part of the test.

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I can't say the same for KEM's vs. Royals. The royal cards are really thin like tip describes the copags. So I need to see for myself.

I broke out the Copags for a home game on Saturday. Everyone liked the feel and how they shuffled. My table surface is a velveteen (rather than felt) and the copags just slid right across as smooth as can be.

copags are nowhere near as thin as royals. royals suck. do not compare the two, they are totally a breed apart.
you said the copags are thinner than the decks you have from casinos. what are these, used blackjack decks you bought for $1.50? those are shitty cardboard cards with a plastic coating, just like plain old bicycle cards.
i have never heard of a casino selling their poker cards, which are typically KEM or gemaco. casino KEMs are slightly thicker than home use KEMs. i think the home use KEMs are pretty much the same thickness as copags.

Yup. Kem's are great. Copags are really good. Royals are the "Always Save" of the plastic card world.

i just got my first Copags in the mail today WOW
they are much nicer than the Royals.
Looks like i will be giving the Royals to my dad who plays solitaire endlessly, maybe they will last him longer than the 2 weeks he normally gets from paper cards
