Well, I cashed some profit out of PS and took it to the boat (riverboats only in KC). I don't usually have money to go play poker at the casino. It gets pricey.
I can put $50 or $100 into my online account. But when I play 3/6 I have to have $120 for me. $120 for my wife and some extra for drinks and slot machine money (you gotta have something to do while you're waiting for a table to open) So for me to play at the casino, I don't need $120, I need $300.
We played for about 4 hours (I could have been there all night) and we had to be somewhere, so we had to leave.
I didn't really have any interesting hands. But it was Mrs. Humphrind's first time at the B&M and so when she had the opportunity to sit next to me, she took it. It was nice having her right beside me.
She had 2 interesting hands.
She had KK in late position.
Raise pre-flop. 4 callers.
Flop came AA7
Check to her, she checked, button bet
MP called, she called (3 handed)
Turn was a 6
Check to button, button bet, MP and Mrs. Humphrind called
River was a 4.
Check to button, button bet, MP called, Mrs. Humphrind folded
Button shows 76 for 2 pair, As and 7s
MP shows 97 for 2 pair with a better kicker.
My wife was not happy at her play.
(honestly, I wasn't either. But I didn't tell her that)
2nd big hand for her
She is MP with AKo
She limps in pre-flop, because she still thinks that AK is a drawing hand
Flop comes AKQ
She bets, EP check-raises, she calls
Turn puts another A on the board.
EP bets, she raises, EP calls.
river is a rag
EP bets again, she raises, EP raises, she caps.
She flips over her nuts and takes a pretty big pot.
EP had A3o He started to argue saying that he had the K kicker also (it was on the board) and the dealer had to explain it to him. It was kinda funny.
Anyway. After 4 hours of play I left exactly $10 down, and Mrs. Humphrind left exactly even. We put the money aside so we can go back and do it again.
It was a lot of fun.
