I recently saw this in one of my home games, a guy after not being called on a bet mucked his hand but instead of just putting it out for the dealer to take it in with the rest of the cards he put it under the rest of the cards in the muck.

I don't think he would have done that with a legitimate hand, what do you think?

I know it's a bit late then to spot the tell but in the future I hopfully will be able to connect it with some other tells.

^ Even it was a tell of relief for winning the hand on a bluff it would meen nothing to worry about him doing so seeing as the hand is already over. However you can study him prior see what he does, and if he does it ever so often of laying his hand after not being called you could use what you saw prior to call him in future hands.

maybe he did it with a big pair and wanted you to think he was bluffing.

Hmm... I do that with my monster hands a lot. But that's just me.
