A weird thing at our casino's here, they all close at 3:00 AM. Dealer or floor manager calls out last 3 hands of the night. Now honestly, I personally try and not fk up the nights work on stupid mistakes played at the end of the night, while a few that are more gamblers will literaly go all-in on the last hand with virtual air..... So here's the problem..... Last hand of the night, UTG E 420.00( who has been trying to get every player to go all in last hand ) raises 50,00 euro's blind, he has not even touch his cards, has also said he will push all-in on a raise, also not looking at his hand.
I'm E400,00 Dealt AsTc
Flop is Ac Kh 5s,
What now?
Let you know what happened after a few answers....and I am so looking forward to coming to the States to play 24/7 poker!

What are the blinds? Did you really just flat his retarded pre-flop raise with AT?

I would either shove over or fold pre-flop depending on how badly I wanted to gamble.

Okay thanks,
Sorry Fnord, realized the picture was less than complete, but it was 4 am my time when I was posting. 400 NL ( euro's ) blinds were 2 & 2. Table is full ring but only 6 men still playing.

I'm 400,00 Dealt AsTc
Flop is Ac Kh 5s,
I instashove allin... as promised UTG not looking at his cards calls...
Turn 5c River 2h
UTG flips cards.... AhQh... I see his hand, I just sht myself, I still cannot believe AhQh dealt blind, and my heart almost drops, ( a nights work in the shtter ), gutted by seeing AQ I really didnt even see it... Dealer smiles, and annouces a split pot... after hearing split, almost want to lay my head on the table. Rake 10, tipped the dealer 10 for the CPR.
While driving home, just wondered if it would have been easier/smarter to have just not looked at my cards and just went home preflop.

" Never underestimate the luck of beginners & idiots " and wondering if this also applies to me.....

what happened to "life is one big poker session"?

Or do you have a read on villain that he wants to book a win and wouldn't raise without something big? If I thought villain was trying to get even I don't think I could fold AK pre.

lol live poker

Just calling before the flop is pretty damn bad.
Calling, and then reconsidering when you hit a pair is like... wtf srzly?

I think what drives decisions in this forum is waaaaay too much driven by how much the money matters. I would never want to play in a game where loosing or winning a buy-in really matters. Ideally you should have enough money in you BR that the only thing you have to figure out is what's the most profitable move. In this case, just get it in. idk if it's a 1/2 or 2/5 game, what position you were in and so on, but usually you should be very happy to get it in here - both before and on the flop.
Whether he ended up having 56, AQ, or 23 doesn't matter at all.

You get a chance to stack someone as a 60% favourite... you can't give up that edge for whatever reason imo.

Didn't have the heart to play it right. When I don't want to play AK, I'm done.
