Just thought I'd pass on what we've done for our Home Games. First we used my Coffee Table in my house. Then I bought a 50 dollar Poker Table Top that has chip holders and Cup Holders at Bed Bath and Beyond. It worked well for 6-8 person games, but then we started hosting Tournaments. Tournaments require enough room for 10 people plus chips/drinks/2 decks/etc.... So, COSTCO to the rescue. They have a great Rectangle Table for only 40 Dollars that fits 3-4 on each side and 1-2 on the ends. The cards slide a little, but I plan to buy some felt and maybe get it Personalized with my Nathan's Casino Logo or something. Yes, You may all now call me nerd.

I realize that this post is several months late but I just ran across some poker table plans using the costco table that you might be interested in (at least if you like to build stuff yourself or know someone who does). The plans are fairly simply and affordable (since you have been pulling in some decent $$ with your bad-ass chips!). I'll be building my table from these plans this weekend. Here's the link:

BTW, where did you get your chips?

Regarding the Bed/Bath/Beyond Table Top, it seems amazing to me that you could seat 6-8 people around a table top that is designed to go over a standard card table. Last I sat a card table, there was barely enough room for 4 people.
Has anyone else done this?
