Every Tuesday we have a $10 buy-in cash game with cheap blinds 10c-25c. Its a lot of fun and well I played the aggressive roll last week and won $65 a $55 profit. I plan on going aggressive again this week but have a question about looking down players.
Say a player raises to $2.00 over the big blind I call and another calls.
My question is I dont tend to look at the flop until it is my turn, I will stare down the opponent until it is my act; but when there are 2 players do I just look them both down or just look at them until they have acted?
hope this isnt confusing
Thanks

What do you look for?
It is important to be observant of your opponents. But you have to know what you are looking for.
Twitches don't matter if you don't know what they mean.

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I'm curious too. Are you looking at them for tells, or are you trying to stare them down for intimidation purposes or something like that?
Or do you stare at them with that hypnotized look on your face that I get after staring at your avatar too long? j/k
If you do look them down to be intimidating, does that seem to get people to fold more, or don't you really notice.

I've been getting better and better at tells.
Last night Fishy and I played in a tournament together. I called 1 of his hands, and like 5 opponents hands. And they were crutial hands.
Fishy was amazed when he had SB and I accuratly put buttons on a range of hands from an obvious blind steal.
It's just something I've picked up. It's mostly due to so many hands of experience. But I've been trying to convey this into an essay. But when I started to write it, it came out in an incoherant, jumbled mess. So I went back to make it good and started working on an outline. The outline is a start, but there is so much involved that it has almost become a "how to play limit holdem" essay.
I'll keep you informed on this. If I am able to do what I want to do, this should be a valuable source.
