Went to one of my first live tourney, buy in was 40, with optional rebuys, 29 entered, i started off not that bad, after raising the first hand, and everyone folded lol, i relaxed and went to a happy place lol, ended up at final table with 7 left and top 5 get paid,i was in the sb, and the bb had half the chips i do, i look down and see q/q so i raise he went all in, i called he fliped over ace jack offsuit, floped the jack, and jack on river, boy was he happy, i still had about 4k in chips with binds 400/800 since i was button next i thought i had time to get a good hand, very next hand i get them again q/q, the buy to my right raises to 2400 and go all in blinds fold he called and flipped a/q offsuit, he hit the ace on flop and nothing to help me, so i went out in 7th.
I guess beats happen like that offline as well,oh well i will enter it again
