Hi,
At my local casino, if a busy night they will normally run 1 and sometimes later in the evening 2 full tables. Usually with my luck a greater share of the fishier players show up later, and end up on the 2nd table. Table Hopping is frowned on by the casino, and usually have to make some pretense of leaving the building and coming back in 40 mins. to sit down at the fishier table.
Im hoping to take some time off and visit friends and family in the states, also want to play live in a few of the casinos in the east and west coast of the states. Question is with such a larger choice of tables, do the casino's even care or watch for table hopping?

No, not at all. It's never frowned upon. There are plenty of dry tables without much action.. people switch all the time.

just tell the poker room manager you want to switch, when one opens up they will move you, no problems at all.

When you play bigger, the tighter tables are sometimes better games. Particularly with the right seat. I see people table change away from gold mines all the time.

There are often 5+ 1-2 NL games going on at my casino and you just ask the floor manager for a change, when one person leaves you take their seat and the next person on the list takes your seat, no biggy.
It can be frustrating playing with a bunch of nits that don't adjust at 1-2. Its still profitable, but winning 8$ pots all night is pretty boring.
