It's very likely that I'll be moving to Connecticut sometime in the next few months if I can find a job there. I've been to the Mohegan Sun once with the intention of playing in a $70 SNG for the hell of it, but they were having a major tourney that particular day so I couldn't get in.

My question this is: Has anyone played the SNGs there and would they care to comment on the level of play? Also any experience with cash games and smaller tourneys there or at Foxwoods? Since I'll be moving near Hartford, they are essentially the same distance away. I could go to either.

Thanks in advance!

ive been to foxwoods many times and recently went to mohegan for the first time. foxwoods is good depending on what you play. i've played 1 sng and i thought it was nicely done. the cash games can be frustrating if you play $1-2 NL, there are many many players that have watched too much wsop on espn. i have been told the $2-5 NL consists of more respectable players. my recent visit to mohegan was a much better impression of the cash games. players actually played poker rather than just pushing all in every hand. the poker room at mohegan is much smaller than foxwoods, but i didnt wait at all at mohegan. at foxwoods it is not unusual to wait 3 hours on a weekend. you should really check out both though, they both have their perks. good luck!

Thanks for the feedback. Are you saying that the $1-2 NL are full of donks?
