i had a great time in macau, enjoyed good food and played some 10/20 cash games in pokerstars land-based room.
Lots of loose actions at the table. My op is a western tourist(semi-tight by live standard) who might think he is a lot better than me cuz i play fairly tight sorta passive and probably fold 90% of my hands. I have $2.4k chip stack and op has me covered.
KcKs UTG1, i raised to $80,2 cold callers and OP called from BB.

flop($330) : 8h Qh Jd i bet like $300, two folds, OP slowly grabbed some big chips and c/r up to $1k.
How do you guys proceed?

Move in barring more information.

Not sure if $2k is a lot of money to you because this is one of those spots where you're going to be gambling for a lot of money against his range.

This sounds like a fairly standard fold, arn't we either flipping or crushed here?
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

Barring more information this is a felt for me. But I don't think this is a super-high value spot.

It's pretty draw heavy here so felting isn't so bad. Depends if all that money is your playing money for the whole time or not.

it might be a fairly standard fold in online games but we must think twice about it in live cash.

Ask Renton what the standard play is I guess.

I'm felting here as a default, but there are a lot of live players I could let this go against. Either way, I don't think think it's a high-value spot. Just a lot of money in the pot.

I just see too much stupid shit to fold a good hand in a big pot.

honestly, i fold this most of the time in online FR 100NL+ games.
i saw lots of bad zero-level thinking players, so i shoved and took it down vs AQ. Seriously, its the only big hand i played during the entire night in macau.

Renton will become famous soon enough
seems like pretty straightforward fold and i would bet less to begin with

a live player probably has all t9/qj combos here which is a ton of hands

QJ7 would be totally different and a lot tougher spot

that said, i don't play live ever and fnord does often, so he's probably right. Also since the stack to pot ratio is very low you can't make a huge mistake calling.

in a live game, AQ/KQ dominates most of opps range for this kind of play.. I stack off most of the time here.

I toyed with the range a bunch more. It's about a coin flip. Let's flip a coin for $5k with dead money in the pot. WHEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

My thoughts:
AQ/KQ are a fold
KK is a close shove
AA is a better shove
Any other one pair hands better have a flush draw to go with them to continue.
