$5/$10 at the usual fishing hole.
I'm ~$2500 deep. My opponent has at least $2000.
5 handed. Kinda tight/passive with one uber-fish. Loving this game even with the California rake.
My opponent is a sorta TAgg (by live standards) with a problem over-playing her hands. She makes too big of raises pre-flop and on the flop and really fears being drawn out on (blows worse hands out of the pot, gives too much action to better hands.) She got most of her chips by going $1200 deep in a limp pot with QJo against the actions QTo when they both flopped top pair on a draw heavy board.
My image is tight as I've been pretty pre-flop card dead all night (but have run VERY good when I've played a hand.) I've since caught cards and am playing a slightly tighter variation of my Online game. So there is a bit of mistrust that's starting to get some loose action from the otherwise tighter players.
I have UTG and raise to $40.
Folds to BB who defends.
~$80 in the pot
Flop is:
Checked to me and I check behind for pot control and to induce.
~$80 in the pot
Turn is :Jc:
Opponent bets $100 pretty quickly and I call. I think she has a hand here.
~$280 in the pot
River is
Opponent didn't seem to like that card and makes what I think is a blocker for $100. I raise to $250.
How'd I do?

fine besides betting the flop with your described image? worry about pot controlling/looking weak on the turn where you will do it with other hands. Im sure all tens and med pp's are calling one street on the flop.

Perhaps, I guess that unlike the vast majority of my opponents she's willing to put a lot of money into the pot with one pair hands as the aggressor and hadn't been pot controling. Hence, I decided that against her range I didn't want to play this hand for a lot of money unimproved.
Also her tight play keeps a lot of possible second best hands out of her pre-flop range.
Finally, I knew I was going to quit within an hour or so. So wasn't worried about balancing my betting range and was probably was protecting my win (*gag* I know.)

A couple of things to check:-
a) Would she have donked the flop w/ TP to block the draw you obviously had?
b) Is she draw-paranoid? i.e. would she think a set is no good on river due to the third club (though ofc she wouldn't fold it)

I think it impacts our play for the flop and turn. I'm much more inclined to play this hand fast with less money behind.

Man I like this hand a lot, because without the player you described id raise the turn all day and fold to a threebet if i didnt have odds to hit a boat.
I like it.
