I'm leaving for Vegas this week and I'm staying at Harrah's and Rio. Planning on playing Cash games. If there was a $300 max table with 1/2 blinds...what would be the adequate bankroll to bring. I know that online bankroll is different from Casinos so I just need a figure from the ones that have played before. This is going to be my first time so I don't want to play outside of my roll....is $4000 to much or too little??

4K is probably more than you need if you're only going to play 1/2.

I was just in Vegas in March and Harrahs has 1/2/200 max NL that's pretty beatable. Stardust also has 1/2/200 and is VERY fishy. Excalibur has 1/3/200 NL, moderately fishy. At least one room(Wynn) has no max buyin 1/2 NL. Those are the only rooms I visited.

There is a difference between your absolute BR and the amount of money you need to take to play those stakes on your trip. I assume you're not going to be there for more than week, and if so, even if you get absolutely cold decked then $4K is more than plenty to play those stakes.
