well, tomorrow is the first big home game of the year. i'm just stoked because the table is finally all the way done, the Kems are ready, and the chips are stacked. it's really becoming a big deal around work. we should have about 15 people there. anyway, just excited about it and had to say something. i'm just waiting for that first straight flush, that will complete the experience of building that table and acquiring all this poker stuff. last time we played i doubled up with quad queens over quad eights, which was pretty sweet, but it's not straight flush.
"But they were suited?!?! You idiot!!"

Nice and how did you wind up doing?

And how did the table hold up? Hopefully it came out unsctathed, yet battle tested.

i did alright for not catching much, but when i did i cleaned up. got third place so i was in the money. the big sucker calling station of the group who is usually out really early with all in bluffs got first. never seen someone hit so many times. if there was an ace on the board, he had it paired, if the board paired, he had the set, i mean every time, and he plays crap starting hands. well, it was fun anyway.

the table held up really well, i am glad we put seven coats of poly on it. drink holders look choice, next mission is personalizing some felt, but i'm good for now. here's the finished product by the way, SS drink holders and all.

"But they were suited?!?! You idiot!!"
