Planning to go DTD on Friday June 5th 2009!
Let's get as many UK heads to go as possible! I'm going with 2-3 mates from home.
Fridays event is $75 f/o tourney or you can just play the cash games all night. Don't know if I'll just go home the next dayyet, or stay over and play two nights.
EDIT: There is also a £25 f/o starts about 15mins after the £75
I'll PM all the UK peeps, that I know of.

Trains aren't particularly good on Sundays so its either stay till 6am at the club on Saturday morning and get first train back or stay the whole weekend till Monday Monday morning.
Probably the frst for me, unless I have awesome funds by June.

heres a heads up which may help some of you guys thinking of going . I was going to post this in slevins thread as he said he was thinking of playing in the 300+30 tourney. I asked the mrs to get me 'poker player' when she went to WHSmiths last week and she came back with poker pro europe or something like that . Anyway theres an advert in it which say that DTDpoker.com do 15$ rebuys with guaranteed seats into the 300+30 and that there were about 100 entrants in the 300+30 tourney they reviewed.

I'll put this into my calendar as a maybe. Too many things are up in the air right now, and I'd need to discuss with my better half how she feels about either being left home alone or coming along. Definitely possible that we have family or something visiting as well so I can't really commit, but it's on my radar.

Ok... plan... some of you lot come round to my house, it's a sweeeet house in the almost center of notts. Drink and bond. Head out in a taxi to venue. About... £10-£15 shared. Near showcase cinema i hear?
fucked up! i bumped into a mate today who said SHE knew a chap who played poker.... fine whatever... but he works in this place called Dusk Till Dawn. Fine. Then i see this thread and it's like... wtf!? is he any of you guys? does anyone here work there as a dealer?
Anywho... questions:
1) can one just play cash? edit: yes, just looked on the web site
2) what stakes? edit: fack, £0.50/£1 that's like 200nl!? at least in vegas i could play .5/1 in dollars!
3) how bad are the live cash players?
Finally... anyone want to hang out at my place, giz a headsup and then we can PM phone numbers etc. Good to have a meeting point init.

I'm going to be arriving around 6pm anyway ( I live like 2hours away), so I don't really have much time to get to your have beers etc. So I'll just be heading straight there. Thanks for the offer though. Plus I don't want to play pissed!
I only think there is one other person from Notts ono the forum Pantherhoud or something similar. We're all coming from diff parts of the country to play there, we aren't local.
Yes anyone can play cash, minimum is 50p/£1 100 max and they go upto £5/10 i think. But there will be a bunch of 50p/1 and 1/2 NHLE games and some omaha/HA games.
There is alos a £25 F/O and a £75 f/o tourney on on Friday.
The last time I went it was pretty soft. and I expect it to be soft still!
If I have a really good night I may stay until Monday.
