So I went to Foxwoods today to play my first B&M game. In fact, it was the first time I've sat at a poker table

I was disappointed to find out that there would be no more Act I tournaments for the day, which is the main reason I went there. But I was able to play at a $1/$2 NL table, $100 max buy in. It was surprisingly crowded for a mid-afternoon on a Thursday.

Anyhoo, I didn't have much luck in the way of cards. Not to mention I was nervous as hell. But I came away with most (75%) of my stack. And I survived the experience, which was the most important part.

I've become so comfortable playing online, it was a foreign experience for sure. I'll probably go back in a few weeks, but to be honest I was a bit intimidated. I'm an introvert by nature, but generally feel comfortable in almost any setting with time. Next time I know I'll be more sure of myself, and will probably bring a buddy along.
