Game is 1/2 at the Tropicana in AC. Most of table really sucks and hates to fold (ldo). I built my stack to like $415 and people are starting to think im good I think and fold to me more.

Terrible station guy opens to $11 from CO and I call from the BB w/ . UTG limped and now calls as well.

Flop comes

I check, UTG checks, Co bets $17.
I raise to $62, expecting CO to never fold an ace or any FD.

UTG moves all in for $185 more, CO folds.

UTG is older guy who isn't splashing around too much. I saw him c/r one turn and he had the nut straight.

My head asplodes and I think his range is basically 55. Can I make hero fold here ever? I feel like folding is ridiculous but it almost feels right. Or does he have A5, NFD enough that its a call.

just ship it. When u c/r this big, you are basically commited. I hate to flat call with Ace sooted OOP and would rather 3 bet preflop and outplay my opponents postflop.

I don't know how terribad they are, so I might be wrong, but I don't think there's a lot of value in c/r there. You're really representing a range that crushes AK - even most of your draws have one pair hands in bad shape.
I would just lead. - You can't trust him to c-bet 3-way unless he's a monkey.

Is utg shoving draws? Does he limp / call with sc's? Could he possibly have AK?
If not, then there are just 2x A5s in the deck - 3x 55, 1x77, 1xAA
So if there could be draws in his range, it's a close call... but I really think you shouldn't have put yourself in a gay spot like that by c/raising.
The call pre is also really questionable. I would like either a 3-bet or a fold, depending on villains. - You really have a hard time outplaying someone oop. - Thinking about it - if you think you can c/r for vaue, you probably shouldn't have called - because you're really relying on flopping 2 pair or better to get value from him.

I was hoping to play a big pot with CO here who was really truly bad. I assumed UTG was gonna c/f. CO is def not folding any ace here, even A2, any FD and I don't think he can fold a pp >7 and he probably calls the c/r with like K7. So I think there is alot of value in C/R the CO, the UTG surprised me.

Your read is everything here. You are probably ahead of a typical 1/2 player's range here, because a lot of them will shove on a bluff or semi-bluff or with top pair or 2 pair (inferior to yours).

But if you believe this player wouldn't do this, then you have to trust your read.

Limp/call from EP, then a check/shove. Looks like a set to me. Maybe a funny AK. Sick spot.

I might fold A5 but call with A7 for sure. Only way we can fold is if villain plays very little hands and we can exclude A5s from his range. Could be AK as well like fnord said. Don't forget we've got over 20% against 55.

I'm not super thrilled about it vs this player, but I call this all day and don't feel too bad about it. I don't make BIG folds getting 2:1 on my money.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

not a fan of folding of this. only hands that trumps us is 77 and 55 and since we have one of the 7's that takes out a few hand combinations

we can't be making these hero folds when villains are very capable of overplaying TPGK

I called and basically agree with what everyone is saying but I expected to be behind more often than not against this guy. He had 55.
