Funny how I was warned of negitive variance, as it hits live as well as online line play....
Full table 2 SB & 2 BB, 2nd & 3rd UTG , Asain gamblers limp in with 1 more MP limper, Im SB with AcQc I raise 18 euro's.
Flat called first two and MP folds.

Flop 9d 2c Ah

I bet out 50 and get flat called by first limper, second folds...

Turn As

Bet out 80 & still get flat called by first limper....

River 4 clubs Bet out 50 he raises 100, I flat call.... he show 5c 3 d

I vomit

Im not sure if a instashove on the turn would have been smarter. I know the call of mine was semi-stupid, but damn!!

I don't think anything you would have done would have got him to lay his hand down. Some people just won't give up their nasty draw's! you want the calls by him anyway, your ahead the whole way except the river. Yucky!

True, Ive been telling myself 9 out of the 10 times I would have been the winner, and I knew the guy tended to over play wierd hands before, that caused me to fold the best hand..... Honestly I didnt even see the draw.... What was in my mind, he had AK ( not likely... limp ) or he had slow played pocket 9's. I get in so much trouble with AQ

that night we played at Edgewater, I stacked one guy at the table twice and he got SOOO upset. He was a huge asshole that was pissed off that I took time to think before one of my actions versus him and who started saying shit like, "This is more than you'll ever make at any day job," to me. He kept complaining about how he was down $400 and telling the dealer that he owed him money, and it was so annoying. I finally asked him, "Haven't you ever lost money in a casino before?" He laughed when I said that and was like, "Are you kidding? Yeah that's me, the $400 ringer," and then proceeded to laugh more about the fact that I had the 'nerve' to ask him that. I didn't say it to him because I couldn't be bothered, but if he was so used to losing money before, what the hell is the problem? Is $400 a lot of money?

lol that was off topic but it came to mind when I read your comment. "Welcome to poker" is what I should have told him too

He made two incredibly bad calls, you got a lot of money in as a big favorite and his river raise was nowhere near large enough to give him the implied odds he needed.

Nice hand.
Just playing to improve.
