We all put about 160USD in the pot... and the winner takes it all. We are 6-10 people.

You can get rid of the $50 dollar chips as the $25's have that aspect covered. I would break it down as such, as the majority of your chips should cover the two lower denominations of your blind structure.
$1- 400 chips
$5- 350 chips
$25- 150 chips
$100- 100 chips
This way you can have a 20 player tournament. And each player starts off with $500 in chips.
Blinds would be 20 minutes each (approx. 4 hours of play with breaks):
1/2
2/4
3/6 - Remove whites at end of round
5/10
10/20
15/30 - Removes reds at end of round
25/50
50/100
100/200
250/500
Hope this helps. :P

Thank you! It was very helpful. Chould i get chips with denominations or without?
In the beginning we will be 6 people playing, how many of each chip is corect? I guess we could speed up the game and each blind would last 10 minutes...? Then we could play 2- 4 tables in one night... or?
Thank You!

check out homepokertourney.com, they have good recommendations on this subject. for tournament style play there is really no point in getting denominations printed. personally i think you could do without the whites too, and go for more exotic colors for the $500 and $1000 chips used at the final stage of the tourney.

So you suggest:
Red ($5) - 400
Green ($25) - 350
Black ($100) - 150
Purple ($500) - 100
Blinds:
5/10
10/20
15/30 - (Remove red?)
25/50
50/100
100/200 - (Remove green?)
250/500
500/1000
1000/2000
2000/4000
Looks good?

You can't have the 250/500 blinds if you remove the greens. Make it 200/400 instead. And all will be good. Like it was suggested. Go to www.homepokertourney.com for any questions you might have about running your own home tournaments. The sight is very insightful.

with 6-10 players....almost any 1000 chipset will serve you right.
I would probably consider reducing the $1 chips and increase some of the "middle" value chips. Seems after a few hands people tend to loosen up a bit.
