So I sit down at a 20/40c no limit table with max buy in of $10. The guy directly to my left (damn) has $26. He keeps pushing his whole stack in preflop every hand stealing 60 or 80 cents. Every single hand he does it. No one ever calls. He's basically holding us up from playing poker, because no one wants to race for all their money.

All I kept thinking was "I hope I get rockets or kowboys" Finally YES, I get AA in SB. I just call to trap and HE FOLDS! He folded a BB! First time in 6 or 7 hands he hasn't pushed all in without hesitation, and when he can see the flop free he says "Naaa, I don't wanna". I win a modest pot without showing my aces, and next hand he starts right back up again with all ins, steals a couple more blinds and leaves. Grrrrr.

The damn guy doesn't even know he blipped on my bloop. I was strangling house pets.

storm75m is an unknown quantity at this point
He must have that software where he can see everyone else's cards... the only explanation.

Yeah I hate it too, when the maniac suddenly decides to chill out on your dime, who the hell does he think he is anyway?!?!

The casual 'limp' in these types of games is an easy tell, especially if it's UTG. I can see why he folded the BB, because he KNEW you had a monster.

gotta agree with allLiving here... had you been folding most hands? had you been raising anything when you had some sort of a hand? i wonder if you had raised some here, what he would have done. maybe he would have just figured you were getting fed up being bullied and still woulda called some sort of a bet. *shrugs* we'll never know.

Haha. Come on dude, your putting me on. Ya, he must have heard me going "Doo dee doo" as I clicked call instead of raise.

My limp in was not a tell. Preflop limps by nature tell you nothing. I limped 2 or 3 times before I had pocket aces, and I had stuff like 44, and J9 suited. He went all in right after I limped. I folded. Raises and calling raises are the only kind of preflop info. When you raise preflop you know this, but you've decided to give out a little info in exchange for isolation.

I have seen this play all too many times, and it alot of times IS a tell if a smart player is executing them. When I sit down at a R/A table and I spot the TAGG players, they are usually the ones to limp with the monsters when there is a player going AI every hand.

try gambling with him, he cant be getting rockets that many times.. you dont always need rockets to defend against someone like that, a middle pocket pair might be sufficient, or AK, KQ

Hold on, you're saying that the small blind calling the BB is a tell that will make the BB fold? Even if he had crap, there's no reason to not a see a flop for free.
