Been invited as a regular to a new home game (usually 6-10 ppl).
It's a $20 buyin NLHE.
Since I don't know anything about how they people play (nor do they know my play), how would you recommend playing?

I've talked to some who say that you might play very tight until you get some reads on the others. I've also had some tell me they would loosen up and play loose-aggressive early b/c the ops don't yet have a good read and are more likely to be passive to your aggression.

All opinions and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Don't play out of your game. If you are a tight player, and rarely play loose, then don't play loose, you will just lose money. Pick your spots and try and play the player. You should get a read on what type of players are at the table after a couple times around the table.

Listen to the guy that told you to play tight until you get a read on the players. Just pound the fock out of your good hands and nothing else.....and then once you have established yourself as a "tight player," open up and pound the fock out of them.

That's what I do at my home game tournaments I go to...It's a $20 rebuy tournament......everyone makes fun of me for being "so tight" but they don't realize that when the blinds get bigger I pound the fock out of them with dog poop. They fold like cheap suits because they think I have AA when I really have 85o.

If you're not playing a tournament structure where the blinds get bigger....then definitely play tight at first. See what everyone is up to, and then knock the poo-poo out of them.
