"The Shoe" is a fave of mine to play at. It's across the Missouri Tiver from Omaha, NE. It's a great room with 18 tables, covered with LCD TVs on 2 walls., and it's own cashier. Waiting to get on a table is minimal. Its a bit slow in the morning between 4 - 10am but from noon on, you've got action.

They spread 1/3 & 2/5 NL, 3/6, 4/8, 5/10 Limit with full and partial kills scattered, and H/L Omaha. ( a fave game of regulars)

The best tournament of the week is on Thursday night. 60+10 with $20 bounties. It usually pulls in 85-100 players. You start with 2500 chips and can but 500 for $5 at the table before play. (covers the dealer tips)

Restrooms are right next to it with JB's cafe steps across from it. The omelettes are killer! You can also order from the tables with a mix of hottie/borderline servers. The floor people are very friendly and know what they're doing. The dealers know what they are doing, and control the game well.

Like I said, it's one of my fave rooms, I know lots of the regulars and the staff does not forget a face. If you are in the area....do it!

Oh, bought into 1/2 with $200 and walked out with $600 in about 3 hours. I can tell you that there are players in this room and they know what to do. Still there's always someone there that just won't believe what you have or someone who is dying to be relieved of their stacks!
