What do you guys do when it seems that your aggressive play ends up making you beat your head against the wall. Strategy-wise, that should probably mean tighten up and value-bet more instead of trying to buy cheap pots when bottom pair will call you down. However, I am talking mentally. How do you stay focused and not lose your edge if you are not the aggressor?

It seems like at the $25 tables, sometimes my aggressiveness is counterproductive. I end up bleeding off chips to that bottom pair, and then I lose the edge. However, I feel that if I am passive, that people will feel like they can run over me, and that makes me feel like I am not sharp and leads to less than optimal play for me.

How do you guys deal with this?

Dont bet into calling stations.

If alot of players at those stakes are calling stations then dont bet with nothing unless you have a weak/tight read.

If alot of players are weak/tight then bet without a read, but take some notes when someone calls you with bottom pair and dont try it on them again.

This is just my opinion dude, and I find it difficult to put myself in your situation because I'm not an aggressive player, I'm tight/aggressive.

Never the less, he's right it sounds like you're not only aggressive, but very loose. Tighten up a bit, use your bonce. Why is that guy calling you down?

Also, don't take this the wrong way, but read this post
http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...oker-17766.htm

Its an interesting post about going on tilt and the various forms of tilt. You might find it of some use, you might not.. Worth a read though either way.

Just remember, you don't have to have the biggest balls at the table. Just as long as you walk away with the chips.
