I have and am going to have some heads-up tourneys, anywhere from 4 to 16 players. Some of the people that I play with don't want to play at all but I think it is so much more fun than a regular tourney.

Has anyone else here had heads-up tourneys or is planning one and just explain if it was single, double, round robin, and how it went.

i have been thinking about trying a heads-up tourney with my regular home game guys. they seem to be interested and i am looking forward to seeing how it goes. here is a link to a site that i use all the time for my home game. it has an outline of a heads-up tourney too.

http://www.homepokertourney.com/heads-up.htm

very good site, for all things home game.

from what i can see, i think that the round-robin would be best if there were 8 or less players, that way everyone gets to play everyone else and it lasts for a while, to keep people occupied. any more than that, and i think that the double elimination would be the best way to go, if not single. anyway, let me know how it went. hope that site helps.
"But they were suited?!?! You idiot!!"
