Have you ever forgot your cards. And I don't mean rechecked them but actually mistaken your cards and misplayed b/c of it. Live game a bit ago and I get dealt K,2. Flop hits my 2 and catch runner runner King. Villain calls my bets all the way along. Showdown I proudly proclaim FH and flip my K,3.... Crazy thing is the villain flips his cards at same time telling me str8t and had also screwed up/miscounted and had the 4 card str8t. This is my 1st time doing this and I usually don't recheck my cards much but this has me rethinking it. Do you guys recheck your cards more/less, use it as intimidation or feigning a weaker hand??

Sort of... I had pocket nines and the flop was 5, 4, 9. For some god-awful reason, I added the five and the four together and was all atwitter because I thought I had quad nines.
I have no sig. Quit looking down here.

Well I felt pretty dumb but I'm sure it won't be the only time it happens to me. I do recheck my cards now if I have any feelings or catch runner/runner. Cool thing about mine is of course my trip kings trounced his 4 card straight so I still took down the pot.

I called an all-in for $60ish with my full house. was the correct call -if i'd had a full house. and not a pair of 3's.

moral - don't play when so drunk you have to squint at the screen....
