So I'll be there next Sat and Sunday and am looking to play some poker...Were's a good place to play lower limit like 3/6 Limit, or maybe 1/2 NL?
Also, does anyone run a nightly tournament or anything that you can recommend? It seems hard to find online....

i have no affiliation.
i've always had excellent luck at bally's (center strip), as their poker "room" is right in the middle of the casino and attracts plenty of tourist fish.

go to the websites of the big casinos, all the other sites suck and are not reliable.
As of June Venetian had a nightly for sure, structure is pretty fast, I also heard good things about the one at caesars but have not played it.
those are both good places for 1/2 nl as well but you can find 1/2 almost everywhere.

It is just fun to play in the big name nice rooms. I have played at Ballys alot when I go and you can win there, but it is more fun for a first visit to sit down in the bigs...

Dont be intimidated, just walk in and get on the list. You will actually find more 1/3 games spread around. Dont play a limit game unless you can stand raise-raise-raise every pot.

my definition of fun = winning
i'd rather not be up against the tighter opponents at the shark holes
the guy asked specifically about low limit games so he probably feels the same
but to each his own

Is 1/2NL action in this room better than MGM grand? I plan to visit vegas on sep 1st for the first time and then leave for HK in a few days.
