The dilemma I have is I know there are games around, as I have heard guys talk about them. The problem is they talk about them at the only place that I know of, where I currently play.

Is it rude to ask about other places to play with house guys sitting at the table? One reason is because I am looking for a limit game, and they only have NL at the current place.

What methods does everyone use to find cash games in their vicinity?

EDIT: Ok, I wrote this half asleep last night, and reading it now, it sounds awful, so let me try to explain a little better.

The cash game I play at now, it is the only one I know about in town. I hear them talk about others, but don't know if it is appropriate to ask where these are located/if I could go with them.

How did everyone start in the cash game ring? The closest casino is 3-4 hours away, and these are much more convenient without the drive.

try a google search. I also know that findpokerpal.com is a site to use but I don't remember if you have to sign up to use it. Google will direct you to several different websites, though....

go to homepokergames.com and add your name to the list of people looking for games... I've gotten a few email responses from people my age looking for players for their games.
