I was playing in a live game over the weekend. The facts quickly:
-Very quick blind structure
-32 players start
-9 players play
-1st=$100
-2nd=$75
-3rd=$50
-It was a private tourney with a 3rd party sponser so no buy-in
-Blinds 3/6k no ante
-BB has 125k
-I have 15k
-3rd player has 15k
-Me and 3rd player holding out for heads up and extra $25
-From SB I pick up Q4os-Call Shove or Fold?
-BB has 125k
-I think if I fold within the next 4 hands going to have to make a move and the other player with 15k is good and not afraid to put pressure back on me.[/img]

Just fold it imo. You can find either a better hand, or something that will flop better than Q4o will.

Gotta shove that. Use what little fold equity we have left. Next hand on the button we will have to shove into two active players, or wait until our BB, where we now have zero FE with 9k chips left.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

I'm all in. Gamble because he's likely not going to call with the bottom third or half of the deck. If you fold your SB here then you won't be able to put the same pressure on your opponnent next hand. Now's not the time to wait for hands with less than 3BB. Ideally you wouldn't want a hand that is easily dominated like q4. but you can't be choosy sometimes. Error on the side of aggression.

I do think I should have shoved there. I did fold however, hoping the large stack would put pressure on the small stack bb, but the big stack folded to the bb, and I was out 3 hands later. Thanks for input all.
