I've noticed a tell on alot of players that have great poker faces, and don't give alot of facial expressions or body language.

I've knoticed, whenever the flop comes, I never look at it, im watching their faces. When some of them get a GREAT flop, they start blinking very rapidly. I've noticed this over and over, and its getting to the point where when I notice it, I don't bet unless I feel I have better.

Yesterday, I was playing, I raised before the flop. Only one other player called. The flop came, and he started blinking about 20 times in a row. I put him on a great hand, he checked to me. I figured him for a trap, and checked back. He tried trapping again during the turn and on the river, I checked instead of bet on the last option.

He was pissed because, he knew with my aggressive style that I would bet, but my tell saved me.

He showed his cards, he hit 4 of a kind on the flop, I knew it....

I played against someone who would blink like crazy when he was bluffing. Mostly you'll find that people will eyeball a card on the board, like if an A hits and they're holding one. Don't put too much emphasis on tells though, some people are aware of them...

I used this to my advantage once because I play with a guy that looks for 'physical' tells. We were playing one of our weekly games and purposely putting my chips in the pot a certain way (with a rather aggressive splash) during semi bluff/bluff/draw situations. A player picked up on it. I then did it again when i was holding a solid hand and drew him in when he should have layed it down.

I saw this blinking tell on ESPN a few times at a WSOP event. One guy flopped quads and starting blinking like a pirahna. I was like "geezus dude stop blinking!" The person in hand with him was a top pro and the eventual winner of the whole event. He just locked up his stack for the most part. He may have payed him off a little.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I watched Annie Dukes Poker Dvds and she claimed that most people are in fact bluffing or under extreme stress when blinking rapidly. She called it "blinkrate"

I put on my Guy Fawkes mask whenever I am in a hand.

I like to bring an opthalmoscope to the table so I can thoroughly examine my opponents eyes. It allowed me to lay down the 2nd nuts against the nuts one time. I then told the guy he had background diabetic retinopathy.
