4-handed blinds up to .05/.075 in a fast-structured home game. I have about 6 dollars behind and he's got me covered. (blinds are weird just for this level because of chip values and nobody wanting to double the blinds in the first increase. )

I'm dealt JTo in the BB and raise 3BBs after checks to me
Only the button calls.

Flop comes 2 5 J rainbow
Pot $.60
I raise .45 cents and he calls

A
I raise weakly, around .60 I think. Another call

J
I raise a dollar, and he re-raises 50 more cents. I call.

He flips 34s.

Line check? I was really on tilt after that because I thought he was terribad for calling me down to the turn, but now that I look back on it, he obviously had the implied odds, and I can't help thinking that I might've done the same thing. At the same time, I don't think I could justify making a potsized bet post flop just to chase a way that one unlikely draw given preflop action.

In you situation, I would probably take my free flop with JTo and play it down cheap. Anything I raise would be brought in for 4-5x here depending upon the table conditions(looseness).
First, your betting the flop not raising as nobody has put any money in. Then check back the turn, bet the river $1 and fold/calling the raise is entirely opponent dependent. Will he CR an Ace, 2 pair or a worse J there? Most good players won't.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.
